Hello!

Elder Haley is doing fine.  He's learning a bit of sign language, but he's not supposed to be an ASL missionary.  After the 12 weeks, I'm going to get a missionary who is supposed to be ASL.

Yes, I did get your memory card.  I got your letter and then picked up my memory card from Newark.  I'll send my old one to you pretty soon.  I'm also excited to get pictures from the wedding!  It sounds like it was a wonderful time.

Well, right now here in Fremont, things are a bit slow.  We're trying to find more people to teach, but we're kind of stuck. We've been praying to find more people, and we have met more, but it's hard to contact them again to teach them.  We're working hard and not discouraged.  We know we can find more people to teach.  They're out here somewhere.

I finally sent a letter to Grandma.  I sent it 3 days ago, so she probably already got it.  I feel better now.  There are a lot of people to write to.  Some members of the ward write to me and I haven't responded.  There's just not enough time.  Too many things to do.  I can rest when I get back home in Utah.

Wow, I can't wait for the pictures!  It sounds like the whole family had a great time at the wedding.

Oh yeah, everyone is happy to see me again.  Everything is going fine.  I'm at the same apartment.  You have the right address.

Oh yeah, that picture of the doctor was long time ago.  Last year sometime I think.  They just helped me clean my lungs out.  There was just lots of phlegm.  I feel a lot better now.  I just had a cold.

When will you send a memory card back to me?  I'm waiting for it so I can send you the one that I have now.

I also have a new companion.  His name is Elder Haley.  He doesn't know Sign Language.  He's from Michigan.  He cooks very good.  He's made a lot of stuff.  it's really good.  I've learned a bit of cooking from him.  I'll be with him for 12 weeks, then he will leave and I'll get a new companion who will be ASL.  Time is going by so fast now.  I'll be home in no time.

It was so great to see the whole family yesterday!  I hope that everything goes well.  I'll talk to you all on Christmas Day. I'll try to write more letters. I love you all so much.

Yes, I did get the invitation.  I was so surprised when I opened it.  I looked at the letter and I thought "Hmm, the name Newman looks familiar"  I opened it and knew that it was Lilly's name. It's a very nice card.  The pictures are very professional.  I hope everything goes well.

On Sunday, I will call on the VP.  I think it will be around 2:00 - 3:00 pm pacific time.  Hopefully the whole family will be there. I'm excited to see everyone!

Thank you for telling me about the memory card.  I was wondering why it was taking so long to get it back.

I'm doing pretty well.  My companion and I are struggling a little bit.  We don't have any investigators now.  We were teaching one, but he's not really looking for the gospel.  he just wanted a job.  We dropped him.  Hopefully some seeds have been planted into his heart.   Now we are trying to find new people to teach.  We've been praying and everything.  We're not doing something right though.  We're trying to figure it out.  There are many people here in Newark, there has to be someone who wants to learn.
