Yes, you are right!  My arm is not broken anymore.  A miracle happened.  Here is the story.  On Saturday I broke my arm.  They x-rayed my arm and said "You fractured it.  There's a crack and It will take 6 - 8 weeks to heal"  On that same day, I asked my companion and another Elder to give me a priesthood blessing.  Right before they gave me the blessing, in my head, I said "Heavenly Father, I believe that I will be healed."  They gave me the blessing.  I iced it and took care of it like the doctor said.  On Wednesday,  I went back to the doctor to get my cast.  I went into the office and they cut off the splint they put on.  The doctor saw my arm and said "Hmmm."  She started poking it and feeling it, asking me if it hurt.  I said no, it didn't hurt.  She said "Well, it looks like you don't need a cast then.  Come back in 2 weeks and we'll make sure everything is ok."  I was amazed!  I was healed, just like the stories in the Bible and Book of Mormon.  Priesthood power is real.  It was a wonderful experience for me, I learned a lot.

Well, there's not much other news.  We're still working with Carla to help her understand that she needs to be baptized with the priesthood.  We've been working really hard to find new people to teach, and now we've started seeing success.

It's amazing what can happen when you ask for the Lord's help.

Wow. I’ve had a crazy week. Well, on Saturday, I broke my arm.  I was riding my bike across an intersection when my chain snapped. I went flying off my bike and landed on my right arm.  I picked my bike and walked to the church building. I just felt sore. Once I got to the church building, I  noticed I couldn't move my right arm.  A member there walked and saw us. He said "It looks like you have an extra elbow" That’s when I figured out my arm was broken. For the past couple days, I've been stuck in the apartment resting my arm. All the deaf people think that it is funny. I can't sign very good.  They tell me it will take 6 - 8 weeks for it to heal.

Our baptismal dates are gone.  One moved and we don't know where she went.  The other has told us that she likes her church, but still wants us to come visit her. But the good news is that we've found a lot of deaf people to teach.

Well, pray that I will heal fast. I had to type this whole thing with one hand.

Hello!

Everything is going all right.  We've had some things happen.  Patricia, our investigator, moved away!  We don't know where she is now!  We're trying to get an address, but it looks like she won't be baptized soon.  Carla is still trying to decide if she wants to be baptized still.  We have a day set up on August 3, but she still can't decide.  We're still working closely with her. 

  

There are many things that have happened.  Too much to write!  I'll share one story:

On Saturday, there was a baptism at another building at 7:00.  We wanted Carla to go and see and feel the spirit there.  The plan was to finish our lesson with her at 6:30 then join some members and all of us would travel up there.  Well, after the lesson with Carla, the members arrived late.  We also had to pick up some other missionaries to go with us.  They were also late.  It was 6:55 by the time we left.  It takes 15 minutes to drive there.  I was so worried that Carla would miss the baptism.  On the way up, I said a prayer that Carla would be able to see the entire baptism.  Well, we finally arrived at the building and we all walked into the room.  Just as we stepped in, the conductor stood up and said "Welcome everyone to the baptism"  Wow!  My prayer was answered!  It was like they were waiting for us to come.  I was pretty happy.

Anyway, things are going great, I'm still eating the stuff you sent to me on my birthday.  Too much stuff!

Wow, sounds like you are all having fun! Things are going great here! Carla and Patricia are doing great!  They're getting ready for baptism. A couple days ago, we committed Carla to live the Word of Wisdom.  She's had some struggles with it. We gave her a blessing to be able to not want to smoke.  After the blessing, she said "Whooo, it got really warm in here!"  It was the spirit! She's doing great! She will be baptized on August 3rd. Patricia will be baptized on July 27.

My companion is doing all right. He's not learning sign language though. I'm just focusing on training him. In 4 weeks, he's going to leave and I'm going to get an ASL missionary. His name is Elder Lebeau from Arizona. Mesa I think? I wonder if you know any Lebeaus. I will get him and train him. I forgot to tell you last week, I'm district leader now. I love teaching district meeting. At first I was really nervous, but it's so great and fun to have all the missionaries together.

We are also doing all right.  Here is pretty hot too, but not hot like yours. But we're still doing some great work!  We hopefully will be having 2 baptisms soon. Patricia Peres is on July 13. Carla Spencer doesn't have one yet, but she's doing great. This past Sunday was Carla's first time at church. After church, we asked Carla how she felt. She said "I felt all tingly over my body"  It was the spirit! She's reading and praying and keeping the commandments that we've taught her.

I'm excited to get some wedding pictures. Well, there's not too much else to share today, I'll talk to you next week.
